1. Duplicate component ID error while refresh
jingjingfu Dec 3, 2007 2:23 PM (in response to jingjingfu)One workaround I just discovered is to set the backing bean scope to "request" instead of "session". Thanks!

2. Re: Error when reloading scrollableDataTable in browser erro
andreas_back Mar 27, 2008 10:50 AM (in response to jingjingfu)Hello!
We had the same problem.
But changing the scope to "request"degraded the scrolling performance while using a large table (160000 rows).
Using ui:debug, see for example http://www.roseindia.net/jsf/debug.shtml, I found out that the component id of the outputText was doubled. So I added an idid="o1"
for that components:<rich:column id="nidentifier" sortable="false" width="80px"> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText styleClass="headerText" value="nidentifier" /> </f:facet> <h:outputText id="o1" value="#{category.nidentifier}" /> </rich:column>
Now it seems to work.
Greetings
Andreas
