sergeysmirnov Dec 14, 2007 7:25 PM (in response to supernovasoftware.com)first of, this masking JQuery plugin works nicely together with RichFaces without any modification. I tested it several times and it just works.
Second, we thoughts about this behavior thru the JSF perspective and believed it should be much more then just masking. Integration with JSF validation stuff is only one step toward the possible perfect solution. The possible perspective, is one of the reason we did not introduce it immediately in the closest release. -

I checked out the jQuery and the Masked input. Cool stuff. Thanks for the tip.
Sergey,
Integration with JSF validation would be sweet.
What would the perfect solution provide? -

supernovasoftware.com Dec 16, 2007 2:25 PM (in response to supernovasoftware.com)Actually the .net one works slightly different. When you start typing it starts by the decimal point and fills right to left. When you hit "." it shift to the right of the decimal and fills right to left. This seems more intuitive to me.
Anyone one have any other example of how jQuery nicely complements Richfaces?
