1. Re: j2sdk1.4.2_05 seems to bring errors while launching jbos
exbrayat Sep 30, 2004 6:35 AM (in response to exbrayat)Finally I tried jdk1.5.0.
Seems to work but I'd prefer a final release rather than a RC...

myibingbb Oct 4, 2004 5:34 AM (in response to exbrayat)Is this error the source of the failure of an application deployment?

5. Re: j2sdk1.4.2_05 seems to bring errors while launching jbos
exbrayat Oct 7, 2004 6:18 AM (in response to exbrayat)Well, using jdk1.5.0 was not so fine... Accessing the jmx-console does not work (because of version number of some classes, such as servlet).
Is jboss supposed to compile with jdk1.5.0 ? (Does not seem at first glance) -

cschlaefcke Oct 14, 2004 8:47 AM (in response to exbrayat)Hi,
I had this error, too. I found the solution @ google for a different tool but the workaround also worked for JBoss.
I copied the directory "%JBOSS_HOME%\lib\endorsed" to "%JAVA_HOME%\jre\lib" after that it worked.
But now I have another error (see my current thread) :-(

jason.greene Oct 29, 2004 5:46 PM (in response to exbrayat)To fix this just add the following to your start vm arguments in the debug configuration dialog
-Djava.endorsed.dirs=/path/to/your/jboss-4.0.0/lib/endorsed
