Hi,

Just downloaded 3.1.3GA and upgraded from 3.1.2GA and noticed that all the generated resource urls for Richfaces have 3.1.3-SNAPSHOT references:

Concerning FAQ:

I think, section 1.17, "We have a <rich:contextMenu> component in the TODO list. However, it is not schedule for the nearest versions." is not correct anymore :-)

Nice Work, though I have one remark concerning the shuttle list.
Default behavior from selectManyListbox is that you can select one or more
items at once. Would be great if that is changed sometime.

rich:contextMenu is in the 3.1.3. The FAQ will be corrected.

and, I've asked about this before, but why not come up with a release that allows the prototype.js + scriptaculous libraries to be accessed from static copies instead of the versions you package in the library? This would cut down on the number of requests the browser makes to an app to obtain all the resources a particular web-app page requires (because the browser could cache the .js files) making for a slightly snappier response time in the user experience.

a4j_3_1_3-SNAPSHOT - is a result unknown tech glitch with Maven. We will re-built the binaries today. The version is taken from the VersionBean class that is changed before the release, but not used somehow.

3.1.3 allows to use different script (and style) loading strategies.

Thanks for the reply - I should mention that I am getting the following error using the rich:listShuttle:

And I initially attributed this error to the 3_1_3-SHAPSHOT issue. It appears that most of the resources are in fact being delivered to the browser but that button gradient resource is not.

Can you clarify a bit on the script loading strategies? I'm not sure what you mean by

Brad, "Resource not registered" is a result of caching the same prefix with a4j_3_1_3-SNAPSHOT. Usually, Ctrl-F5 helps when you test different SNAPSHOTs.

re-download the richfaces jars. We re-build the binaries and the unique a4j_3_1_3-GA prefix is used there already.

Please clarify what you mean under this post. You also may use multiple select in the list. But it's keyboard based.

mhh works fine, monitor was too bright so I could not see the items were selected when holding the Ctrl key down and klicking onto an item.

Yesterday, I upgraded to richfaces 3.1.3 to use the new contextMenu component. I was getting a js error in both IE and FF when trying to run the contextMenu with a picture test example I copied from the richfaces demo page. Today, I read more posts and I downloaded the latest built with maven. Cleaned all old richfaces jars and I tried both LoadScriptStrategies (ALL, DEFAULT).

With ALL I get several js errors in both IE and FF:
