mikek753 Jul 19, 2005 12:14 PM (in response to fredatwork)Eclipse 3.1 doesn't work with JBoss-IDE yet!
JBoss-IDE M1 works with Eclipse 3.1M5.
to jboss people / moderator:
Would you add Sticky topic which tells what version of Eclipse is supported, or Eclipse 3.1 doesn't work with JBoss-IDE yet. To let anyone save time and avoid posting the same question again and again. -

The download site has changed in the last 24 hours and now seems to suggest that Milestone2 is out and that it supports 3.1.
BUT, I have tried it and it doesn't work properly for me. No doubt this is causing additional confusion!!
I have tried a direct download, rather than using the automatic download, that might work I guess. Anyone else got this working?

s.d. Jul 21, 2005 4:05 AM (in response to fredatwork)Hi everyone,
I have had the same problem with Eclipse 3.1 that is updated with the JBoss IDE plugins (through the Help -> Software Updates -> Find ans install procedure).
Curently I work with the JBoss IDE packed in this package JBossIDE-1.5M2-Bundle+EJB3-win32.zip and with JBoss engine version 4.0.3RC1. It allows me to create J2EE 1.4 projects with the new project wizard. I have to mention that I have not tried deploying and starting it, so I do no know if it will cause other troubles.
Hope this might help,
s.d.
