3. Re: JBossIDE 2.0.0Beta2 missing JBoss Launch configuration
alexg79 Dec 19, 2006 8:59 AM (in response to kdalley)Eclipse 3.2 comes with improved Java EE support, so starting with JBossIDE 2.0, you no longer run the server from the Run menu. Instead, you add it to the Servers list (from the Servers view) and the press "start".

5. Re: JBossIDE 2.0.0Beta2 missing JBoss Launch configuration
alexg79 Dec 19, 2006 9:48 AM (in response to kdalley)If you have trouble getting the JBossIDE plugin to work, you can always install the JBossIDE-Eclipse bundle (Eclipse 3.2.1 with bundled JBossIDE). That's what I did.

It seems like you completely ignored my first post in this thread. I told you that you DO NOT run the server from the Run menu! Instead, click Window -> Show view -> Other... and choose Server/JBoss Server View. Then right-click on the newly opened view, and choose New -> Server. That should get you going.
