JBoss IDE 2.0.0Beta2 and EJB 3.0

I am looking at the JBoss IDE 2.0.0.Beta2. I looked at the Demotorials and they looked fabulous.

The one about how to deploy an EJB was nice, but when I followed it for an EJB 3.0 bean (instead of the 2.1 that was shown) I got the following error upon selecting "Add or Remove Projects" in the Server context menu.

"There are no projects that can be added or removed from the server."

I have tried to figure out what I did wrong, but I can't seem to find the solution.

I will admit to being new to EJB's, so this could just be me doing something very simple very wrong. But if any one has a solution to this or a simple EJB 3.0 project that they could send me (that works with the beta) I would be grateful.

Note: I am using the (latest) full bundle of the IDE Beta and JBoss 4.0.5.GA (installed for EJB 3.0) running on a Windows XP machine.

Ejb 3.0 projects in beta2 were not part of the webtools project structure or the server adapter API. There's an ejb3 module in cvs that does, but that's little consolation to you, I'm sure.

there won't be a beta of JBoss IDE; but all the eclipse features in it will be available individually for binary and source download.

I'm confused. JBoss IDE is currently 2.0Beta2. Will there be no Beta 3 or GA? Is the project dead?

No, its just called jboss tools and RHDS now.

I have the same problem (There are no projects that can be added or removed from the server.). Anyone knows to solve this?

if you're using beta2 then you're using a very very old version of the IDE
