1. Re: Error in components.xml
maxandersen Nov 27, 2007 8:23 AM (in response to perlin75)what is the error ? (my guess is that it is the seam validator that is detecting something wrong)

2. Re: Error in components.xml
perlin75 Nov 27, 2007 9:16 AM (in response to perlin75)Sorry about that...
Here's the actual error in Eclipse:
cvc-complex-type.2.4.c: The matching wildcard is strict, but no declaration can be found for element 'transaction:no-transaction'. -
3. Re: Error in components.xml
starf666 Nov 30, 2007 4:27 AM (in response to perlin75)I have the same problem with the following code in components.xml:
<core:resource-loader> <core:bundle-names> <value>ui</value> </core:bundle-names> </core:resource-loader>
Error description is:
cvc-complex-type.2.4.c: The matching wildcard is strict, but no declaration can be found for element 'core:resource-loader'. -
4. Re: Error in components.xml
maxandersen Nov 30, 2007 7:53 AM (in response to perlin75)that is a basic xml validation error....seems like Seam2's XSD's are not correct or?

5. Re: Error in components.xml
starf666 Nov 30, 2007 8:28 AM (in response to perlin75)Probably. That code was copied from the seam documentation. Should this be posted on the seam user forums?

6. Re: Error in components.xml
maxandersen Nov 30, 2007 8:29 AM (in response to perlin75)does it work when you run it ?

7. Re: Error in components.xml
perlin75 Nov 30, 2007 8:39 AM (in response to perlin75)It works for me - "only" an error in Eclipse. But it's strange that this was not a problem when only using seam(prior to JBoss Tools). It seems that the XSD for transaction is corrupted / lost with JBoss Tools

8. Re: Error in components.xml
maxandersen Nov 30, 2007 8:45 AM (in response to perlin75)well more a matter of we are actually validating them now - where you didn't get them validated before...
Looking at the xsd's we include in tooling it seems that seam2.0.0.GA has a change in the xsd's.
resouce-bundle replaced with resource-loader...;( -
9. Re: Error in components.xml
starf666 Dec 3, 2007 4:08 AM (in response to perlin75)It also works for me. So it's not really a problem, just a little annoying when you copy and paste from the seam-doc. The resource-bundle/resource-loader replacement is the right guess. When I first tried the code form an older version of the doc it showed no error in Eclipse but did not work.

10. Re: Error in components.xml
maxandersen Dec 3, 2007 6:10 AM (in response to perlin75)yes - the reason you saw that was that seam 2 changed the xsds in the beta release phase and the tooling were using the beta releases xsds so we would say the file was ok (when pasted from older doc) but when you deployed it to seam 2 it would blow up.

maxandersen Dec 3, 2007 6:10 AM (in response to perlin75)btw. this (and other) warning(s) because of an outofdate xsd have been fixed. thanks for reporting it.
