Thanks to Parallels I was able to do the same steps under Win XP (downloading and installing from scratch Eclipse, JBoss Tools and JBoss AS with the same version numbers).
Under Win XP everything works fine. So this seems to be an issue on the Mac. Is there a known workaround or should I file a JIRA issue?
