1. Re: WTP 3.0 ?
maxandersen Apr 10, 2008 5:55 AM (in response to juergen.zimmermann)Rough estimation ? Sometime.
Anyone who really want this should try and come in and help us adjust for the API changes they did.
Btw. I'm getting very mixed signals about what works and what does not work on Eclipse 3.4 and WTP 3....last week someone said it worked fine for them...
Which also was surprising since I know it won't compile against eclipse 3.4. -
2. Re: WTP 3.0 ?
aaragus Jul 11, 2008 10:23 AM (in response to juergen.zimmermann)Now Ganymede has been released and we installed it with the JBoss Tools JBossTools-2.1.2.GA-ALL-win32.zip and got the same erros.
Neither The Jboss Tools Palet nor the Jboss Server View can be created. This greatly limits the use of Jboss tools and we were forced to use Europa. I noticed that the last post on this subject was April 10th. Any idea when Jboss-Tools will be compatable now that the Ganymede Release if official. (The Eclipse site doesn't even advertise the Europa release anymore).
Thanks

rob.stryker Jul 11, 2008 3:31 PM (in response to juergen.zimmermann)THere were a LOT of api changes between europa and ganymede. There really is no way to "patch" the current jboss tools release. That's what most of our initial development on our next version was geared to.

4. Re: WTP 3.0 ?
maxandersen Jul 13, 2008 3:56 AM (in response to juergen.zimmermann)p.s. if you want to help out with improving Ganymede support then use the jboss tools nightly build which works against Ganymede.

is there a chance you will provide an update site for the nightly builds?
it would make testing much easier if one simply could do "update" instead of downloading the zip everytime and drop it into dropins. -
