1. Re: Is perspective JMX considered to be
maxandersen Dec 31, 2008 2:41 AM (in response to juergen.zimmermann)If there is an api (that is not just jmx) to introspect a live running instance then that would make sense. But I haven't looked into if there is such API besides JMX.
Is there somethings you want to see you cant see via jmx ? -

juergen.zimmermann Dec 31, 2008 3:48 AM (in response to juergen.zimmermann)The JMX perspective serves my needs: looking up names of EJBs, looking up the name of JAAS domains, looking up names of queues and topics, ...
I was just doubtful about the relationship between the (old) JMX MBeans and the new POJOs. -

rob.stryker Dec 31, 2008 6:19 AM (in response to juergen.zimmermann)I have not yet personally looked up how to introspect a running microcontainer. While this is a great idea, there are currently other issues that are more of a priority. As long as the main use cases (ejb's, etc) are taken care of, this is just a TODO for the future, sadly.
