Visual Editor and RichFaces Modal Panel

Hi,

It doesn't seem to be possible to use the visual editor on RF Modal Panels. Although 'source' editing is fine the 'visual' and 'preview' tabs show nothing. The workaround is to put all modalpanel content inside another container and then comment out the modalpanel opening tag while editing, but its far from ideal :-(

Is it intended to be able to do this at some future point?

Hi

Visual editor can show non-visual tags. You should choose "Show non-visual tags" item in drop-down menu of visual editor (left-top corner of visual editor). Or if You want to set the showing non-visual tags as a default behavior of visual editor You can check "Show non-visual tags" option in Preferences of Visual Page editor.

Thanks for that. I'd assumed that that setting only applied to tags like <a4j:support>. Nice to have it working though :-)

hmm - maybe we should name that menu something different.

Atorble - could you open a jira with a sample file and possibly screenshots before/after illustrating it so we can remember to take a look at it ?
