1. Re: Axis style web services in JBoss 4
goldrimtang Dec 29, 2004 7:03 PM (in response to thomas.diesler)I mentioned that porting WS from Jboss.net to JbossWS was easy. We are migrating from 3.2.3 to 4.0.1, and have found that with Jboss.net we could mark a method of a bean as part of a web service. Is this possible with JbossWS, or it has to be the entire bean, with all its methods available as a web service?
Thanks for your help! -

thomas.diesler Jan 3, 2005 11:57 AM (in response to thomas.diesler)J2EE-1.4 has a new <service-endpoint> element in ejb-jar.xml. This takes your service endpoint interface (SEI) which may contain a subset of the SLSB's methods.

omatzura Jan 5, 2005 2:47 AM (in response to thomas.diesler)Hi!
We had no problems creating and deploying a standard webapp/.war including axis services which could locate jboss and invoke mbeans, etc. If you want to invoke ejbs or jms you could use spring as an "adapter/proxy layer", ie axis -> spring -> ejb/jms..
regards!
