1. Re: EJB3 Entities with CMRs Returned via JAX-RPC
cbax007 Jan 30, 2006 8:30 PM (in response to cbax007)Does anybody out there even have an opinion on this matter? Does anyone know how to set up EJB3 CMRs with Arrays instead of Collections? Were JAX-RPC webservices and EJB3 not meant to co-exist?

2. Re: EJB3 Entities with CMRs Returned via JAX-RPC
jason.greene Jan 30, 2006 9:13 PM (in response to cbax007)Collections will be supported in JAX-WS (the replacement for JAX-RPC). JAX-WS is on the roadmap for jbossws 1.1. Until then you have to manage this mismatch, by using DTOs.

jason.greene Jan 31, 2006 10:32 AM (in response to cbax007)You can follow our release plans (which includes dates) by looking at the roadmap in JIRA.
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/secure/BrowseProject.jspa?id=12310050&subset=-1
We are first focusing on getting jbossws 1.0 released. This is a complete rewrite of the current axis based implementation. It includes a number of advanced features, such as WS-Security, WS-Eventing, WS-Addressing, and support for JSR-181 deployments (which you are using).
You can monitor the progress on collection support here:
