Top Down Web Services Development With wstools

I would like to start with an existing WSDL file and do top-down development for web services so I can have better control of the schema for data types and validation. I can find no documentation on generating the classes from the wsdl file and eventually deploying as a stateless session ejb. Am I missing something ?

I see the use of wsdl-java for clients. I still am not sure on how to make the connection for a stateless session bean. My desired implementation steps are :
* develop a schema for message exchange
* develop wsdl defining messages etc
* develop a stateless session EJB that implements the document/literal web services.
