issues on menu item and context menu

it seems that menu items don't work well with context menu: when i move the mouse over the menu item, the background doesn't change, the cursor changed to a text selector('I'), and if the item is a submenu, it's not popped.

i'm using jboss seam 1.2.1, with richfaces 3.1.3 GA. the browsers tested are ie 6.0 & firefox 2.0.

no, actually i copied the same code from there. for the 1st demo, the js function is triggered, i.e. the image is enlarged/shrinked at every click on the menu item, but the appearance of the selected menu item doesn't look any different from the others -- no change in the background color, nor does the cursor turn into a hand-shaped pointer, besides, the menu doesn't go away after each click. for the 2nd demo, there's another problem -- the submenu couldn't pop up when i move the mouse over the item.

what puzzles me is that it works fine on the demo page, but not on mine.

i tried the snapshot of rf 3.1.4, the problem remains.

Looks like the problem in configuration of the project. Most likely, it is around js of style loading.

do u mean the configuration of jboss seam? what can i do to make it look right?
u know, the menu item works fine with drop down menu, but not with context menu, they have seperate configurations?

Are you using MyFaces? I have a very similar problem and I'm using MyFaces 1.1.5. There seems to be an issue with the JavaScript generated for the ContextMenu that prevents the menu from working correctly.

i'm using seam 1.2.1 GA, and in the lib directory, i found myfaces-api-1.1.4.jar & myfaces-impl-1.1.4.jar

colablade, I haven't found a solution, but there is an issue reported... I hope it makes the list for the 3.1.4 release. (So far no progress has been made on the issue)
