sergeysmirnov Jan 28, 2008 9:18 PM (in response to schinni)The version should be 1.6
You have less. So, it is the one that came with MyFaces.
We have this issue discussed already on the forum.

4. Re: Help - Facing problem with RichFaces Menu
schinni Jan 29, 2008 1:28 AM (in response to schinni)Hi Sergey,
Thanks for the prompt response. I checked out the url you mentioned. I found that netbeans 6 visual web JSF apps use the Web UI Components Library which references prototype_1.5.0.jar.
I was unable to find a newer prototype.jar. So, i downloaded prototype.js (v1.6.0) and jar'red it up and tried using that. However, it did not work. Even my basic JSF components did not load.
What do you suggest i do?
Thanks. -
5. Re: Help - Facing problem with RichFaces Menu
sergeysmirnov Jan 29, 2008 2:11 AM (in response to schinni)You do not have to download and install prototype.js by yourself. The prototype.js 1.6.0 is a part of RichFaces.
So, that problem occurs not because of missing prototype.js, but because the the other library (probably, netbeans 6 visual web) overwrites the 1.6.0 with more old version. -

Indeed. This seems to be the problem. Any ideas on how to bypass this dependency issue?
Thanks
