Gmap in tabpane

Hi,

is it possible to have a richfaces gmap in a tabpane using ajax style tab switching? I understood the gmap component cannot be rerendered...

I already tried that and the problem is, that the whole page dissapears whe switching back to the tab containing the gmap. Is there any way to avoid that?

no. gmap can't be rendered via ajax. So make the tab with gmap switched via server mode.
