rich:togglepanel - client side switching

Hello!

I want to switch a rich:togglepanel on client side - in this case from a tree selection.
The documentation suggests that with switch type "client" I can toggle the panel using javascript, but the function to use is not documented.

Can someone help me out?

documentation tells that toggle panel switches via client side script.. and it means itself ;)

we haven't present js API for this component.. should check additionally if the functions should be called from your custom code..

It is not possible to switch the panel via js?

[list=] Should I wait until someone updates the online doc (or why did you send me the jira)? If that is what you mean, maybe you can tell me now how to switch the panel from my client side js code so I can go ahead with my project?
[list=] Are you suggesting it is not possible to switch the toggle panel via plain javascript? That would be kind of sad provided I can do achieve the same bahavior with a couple of dives and some lines of java code...

we have no publick API now. As you may see from the bug - we will review our JS, create publick API methods and describe it after tests in our docs.

Currently JS API for switchable components aren't available.
