javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: org.jboss.ws.core.Comm
resh123 Jul 31, 2008 11:54 AMHi all,
I am using JBoss web services and web service security. I have my web service deployed on a linux box and am invoking it from my windows system.
However, when I run the web service client from Windows, I get the following exception on the server side:
javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: org.jboss.ws.core.CommonSOAPFaultException: Expired message. at org.jboss.ws.core.jaxws.SOAPFaultHelperJAXWS.getSOAPFaultException(SOAPFaultHelperJAXWS.java:69) at org.jboss.ws.core.jaxws.binding.SOAP11BindingJAXWS.throwFaultException(SOAP11BindingJAXWS.java:109) at org.jboss.ws.core.CommonSOAPBinding.unbindResponseMessage(CommonSOAPBinding.java:553) at org.jboss.ws.core.CommonClient.invoke(CommonClient.java:371) at org.jboss.ws.core.jaxws.client.ClientImpl.invoke(ClientImpl.java:243) at org.jboss.ws.core.jaxws.client.ClientProxy.invoke(ClientProxy.java:164) at org.jboss.ws.core.jaxws.client.ClientProxy.invoke(ClientProxy.java:150) at $Proxy17.getEvents(Unknown Source) at uk.co.autotrader.urs.wsclient.TestURSWebServiceClient.testGetEvents(TestURSWebServiceClient.java:211) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:39) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:25) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:585) at junit.framework.TestCase.runTest(TestCase.java:164) at junit.framework.TestCase.runBare(TestCase.java:130) at junit.framework.TestResult$1.protect(TestResult.java:106) at junit.framework.TestResult.runProtected(TestResult.java:124) at junit.framework.TestResult.run(TestResult.java:109) at junit.framework.TestCase.run(TestCase.java:120) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.junit3.JUnit3TestReference.run(JUnit3TestReference.java:130) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.TestExecution.run(TestExecution.java:38) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.RemoteTestRunner.runTests(RemoteTestRunner.java:460) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.RemoteTestRunner.runTests(RemoteTestRunner.java:673) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.RemoteTestRunner.run(RemoteTestRunner.java:386) at org.eclipse.jdt.internal.junit.runner.RemoteTestRunner.main(RemoteTestRunner.java:196)
I checked the date & time on both the systems and they are almost identical. I also have timestamp tolerance set in my jboss-wsse-server.xml as recommended at http://jbws.dyndns.org/mediawiki/index.php?title=WS-Security_options#Advanced_tuning:_timestamp_verification. So this file is as follows:
<jboss-ws-security xmlns="http://www.jboss.com/ws-security/config" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.jboss.com/ws-security/config http://www.jboss.com/ws-security/schema/jboss-ws-security_1_0.xsd"> <config> <timestamp ttl="300" /> <requires /> </config> <timestamp-verification createdTolerance="720" warnCreated="true" expiresTolerance="60" warnExpires="true" /> </jboss-ws-security>
I have set the createdTolerance to 2 hours and expiresTolerance to 1 minute.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the issue?
