Richfaces.showModalPanel

I am trying to get a simple modal panel to work. I get this error in Firebug.

Richfaces.showModalPanel is not a function.

I must be doing something wrong here...

I have defined the namespace (http://richfaces.org/rich) and included the libraries. (jar files in my ear file)

The Richfaces.showModalPanel should work, but this is an old style.
Use rich:componentControl instead:
