1. Re: Comparison report for JBoss , WebLogic and Tomcat
tobias Oct 30, 2002 12:58 PM (in response to vack)(I won't delete this question for some days, hoping some references to comparisons are posted. If none is added this thread will be deleted then.)
I'd like to point out that Tomcat is a pure JSP/Servlet-Server whereas JBoss and Weblogic are full J2EE Servers.
This is why JBoss is available with Tomcat integrated into JBoss.
There are some further explanations of these differences in the static FAQ on the website. -

daandels Jan 27, 2003 7:10 PM (in response to vack)You can find comparisons between the J2EE 1.3.1 reference implementation, BEA WebLogic, and JBoss in the Book "J2EE Hotspots" written by Adam Bien and Rainer Sawitzki at Addison-Wesley, ISBN: 3-8273-1950-1. My book is in German and has the subtitle "Professionelle Lösungen für die Java-Entwicklung", which means "Professional Solutions in Java-Development". There is a website to it: www.star-finder.com
Hope that helps you.
