A: Yes, join #jboss on the freenode.net IRC network. With Mozilla you may want to try entering this address where you normally would enter a HTTP address:
irc://irc.freenode.net/jboss

What version of Mozilla? I'm using v1.3 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312) and when I try that I get "irc is not a registered protocol" error.

Thanks ... I know. But I just wanted to see if there's some hidden functionality in Mozilla that I didn't know about and couldn't access.
