Building on Suse 9.3

Hi,

I am having no luck building on suse9.3 using cr4 or rc3.
I have gcc and g++ installed, I run /compile.sh with no errors but a libjbossInspector.so does not get generated.

I need help here please or a step by step guide to get it going, the Readme.txt is not helping.

There is a directory with scripts for suse...

Also make sure you have JAVA_HOME defined before calling compile.sh

Does anyone know if the out-of-the-box Linux version of libjbossInspector.so will work on Suse (SLES 9)? Or is there some trick to building it on SLES 9?

I don't see the Suse scripts (mentioned by Clebert) in the 1.0.CR4 download. Will the CR4 Linux compile.sh work on SLES 9?

We are able to use the out-of-the-box version as well as our own build of the .so on Fedora but we are having issues on SLES 9 (Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not find agent library on the library path or in the local directory: jbossInspector)

I remember having a suse directory... I don't know what happened.. maybe I probably missed something :-(... sorry about that.

I think the compile.sh under linux or linux64 should work on Suse.. but I'm not sure... I would be able to help you if you try it out.


Maybe you could try CVS... but the download package should work.
