how to make and editable DateTable

Hello.

I was wondering if you could point me to some documentation or give me an example on how to make an editable DataTable. I have seen on the live demo, using the ExtendedDataModel, but it is not very clear/does not contain the full source code to understand. I want to update the database, either after all changes are made or as every change is made.

In the example, i see that the getRow index is not implemented:

/**
 * Unused rudiment from old JSF staff.
 */
 @Override
 public int getRowIndex() {
 throw new UnsupportedOperationException();
 }

But when I try to do the same(leave the method like this), I get the UnsupportedOperationException thrown, so it actualy is called by the container when first rendering. I am confused ...

I mean a4j:repeat page example from this project.
