Configuration for Jboss ESB with Apache Axis2

    debadattamishra

      Hi,

I have worked out some of the examples provided by you and I found this version ie ESB 4.2 MR2 to be a stable to some extent. However my ultimate goal is to perform webservice using Jboss ESB. More specifically, Jboss ESB will be the infrastucture for webservices. In my application we are using Apache Axis2 for webservices related stuffs. I have also tested the inbuilt example "webservice_jbossws_adapter_01" . I am still unable to understand the flow here. Is there any document to understand the flow. Besides I want to know what are the minimal configuration I have to make for Apache Axis2 with Jboss ESB(4.2 MR2 version). Finaly I have to make a sopa call through ESB and to get a different soap message through ESB. Please help me in this regard. Right now for my RND I am using Jboss AS 4.0.5. I will be thankful to you for your immediate response.

I'm sure Tom will lend a hand, but Apache Axis2 is not going to be one of our officially supported Web Services platforms in the 4.2 release. Plus, we're moving to JBossAS 4.2.

            Hi,

I thank you for the response from Jboss. Also let me know what are the minimal configurations I will make to make an external webservice call. More specifically I want to access the webservice from www.xmethod.com ie farenheit to celcious.

We'll be adding more docs on this stuff soon, but in the mean time, take a look at the flash demos. They're annotated and explain all the concepts involved here.

We don't support Axis yet. We'll be getting this for free once the JBoss Webservices guys get their Axis provider implemented.
