Is this a Bug and i should open a JIRA Issue??
Or was the "@Serializable" annotation just moved / renamed?

2. Re: EJB3 RC1: Where has @Serializable gone??
epbernard Sep 1, 2005 6:23 AM (in response to bigm25)@Serializable has been removed. And it seems that FireBird JDBC driver has a broken Blob implementation

3. Re: EJB3 RC1: Where has @Serializable gone??
rkrylov Sep 6, 2005 6:23 AM (in response to bigm25)I have the same problem using @Lob with PostgreSQL(8.0.3)
in both 4.0.3-RC2 & 4.0.3-RC1,
but no problem with @Serialized in 4.0.3-RC1.
The exception thrown had the info "conld not deserialize".
Although, the same problem I had encountered with MySQL(4.0) and jboss-4.0.3-RC1(and earlier versions) using @Serialized with TimerHandle underlying data type - I have to store timer handle to reference running timers.
Should it be registered as JIRA bug? -
4. Re: EJB3 RC1: Where has @Serializable gone??
epbernard Sep 8, 2005 11:51 AM (in response to bigm25)in your case it's a postgres driver bug. They misinterpret the JDBC API for blobs, it's fixed in their CVS

5. Re: EJB3 RC1: Where has @Serializable gone??
rkrylov Sep 9, 2005 6:42 AM (in response to bigm25)OK.
But how does @Serialized work without problems in 4.0.3RC1 with the same version of pgSQL?
Is it mapped to smth like BLOB? If so - how it is possible? -
6. Re: EJB3 RC1: Where has @Serializable gone??
