Problem with TimerService

Hi everyone...

I've made some simple stateless bean (with jboss embeddable):

@Stateless
public class Listeners implements ListenersLocal {
 @Resource
 TimerService timerService;

 public void someMethod(){
 timerService.create......
 }
}

Unfortunetly timerService isn't injected. It's null. What I'm doing wrong? Does Jboss Embeddable need some configuration file to allow using timerService ?

embeddable doesn't support timer service yet.

Is there a Jira issue for this feature? I couldn't find one. I would like to monitor it's progress.

I am running into the same issue. I am running JBoss 4.2.2. Is this still an outstanding issue or is there a fix for this or a work around? Any help or response is much appreciated!
