We have an application with an applet in the center. When we show a modal panel, the applet obscures the modal panel. However, I note that drop down menus do properly appear above the applet.
There is a known issue with applets not respecting z-order. I've been trying to test the "iframe shim" work-around (google) with no luck so far.
Just wondered if anyone has encountered this and has a tip. Any examples of using applets combined with richfaces in general, anyone?
