1. Re: @Local Local cannot be resolved to a type.
peterj Aug 23, 2006 3:35 PM (in response to jfrankman)It is in ./server/xxx/deploy/ejb3.deployer/jboss-ejb3x.jar
At least, that is where it is in the 4.0.4.GA release. -

jfrankman Aug 23, 2006 4:47 PM (in response to jfrankman)Thanks. After looking at my JBoss installation, it occurred to me it was a default installation, not a EJB3 installation. Once I added the jar to my project everything is fine. Thanks for your help.

3. Re: @Local Local cannot be resolved to a type.
myfmelo Oct 16, 2006 1:40 AM (in response to jfrankman)I have a similar problem. I added the jboss-ejb3x.jar and still can't import javax.ejb.EJB (Eclipse says that "The import javax.ejb.EJB cannot be resolved"). Any ideas?
import javax.ejb.EJB; public class LoginServlet extends HttpServlet { @EJB UserManager userManager;

alrubinger Oct 16, 2006 5:04 PM (in response to jfrankman)What version of EJB3 are you running? Pre-RC8, I think the correct import is javax.annotation.EJB; the annotation class was moved for spec compliance.

wolfgangknauf Oct 17, 2006 5:59 AM (in response to jfrankman)Do you use Eclipse with the WebTools plugin ?
I modified the existing WTP 1.5 JBoss plugin to support the EJB3 annotations of RC8 and RC9.
You can find it here: http://www.informatik.fh-wiesbaden.de/~knauf/public
