ejb3 mdb without resource adaptor (container configuration)

hi, Is it possible to deploy an ejb3 mdb by using the old way of specifying the container configuration? I found that jboss_5_0.xsd does not support configuration-name element. It does support the standard way of specifying
resource adaptor.

Also is it possible to make the mdb deployment dependent on jboss services also deployed using the same jboss.xml using "service" element.

Sorry I forgot to mention. I am trying to do this on jboss 4.0.4 with the bundled ejb3
