@Service POJO referencing a Session Bean

[Using jboss4.0.4GA]
I have created a service object annotated with @Service.

However, when I try to lookup a session bean etc.. THe session bean has not been deployed yet so it fails.?? I"m calling these lookups from the start() method of the service object.

??

How can I get this to work

Use @Stateless or @Stateful annotations
There is basic samples in the tutorial

Sorry to confuse, the session beans are fine, I have no issues looking them up from clients or other session beans, but it appears to me that when I deploy the .ear file, the Service bean is started before jboss even deploys the session beans.. So thats my real issue?

I had the same problem, i solved it by adding @Depends to the service object.

@Depends({
 "...,name=YourSessionBean,service=EJB3"
})

After adding the dependencies it works fine for me.
