1. Re: How can I set custom style for a single rich:panel heade
jgreene Mar 12, 2008 12:41 PM (in response to jgreene)BTW, I did try using the rich:panel's "headerClass" attribute with the "header" attribute, instead of using the header facet, to define a style class for my background color, but it did not work. I also have a rich:separator in the panel that I'm trying to apply a custom color to using its style attribute, but it does not work either.
If this makes a difference, we're using Richfaces 3.1.3.GA.

Did you have a chance to look at "Look Customization" tab in the http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4136040#4136040 demo -

jgreene Mar 12, 2008 3:01 PM (in response to jgreene)Hi Sergey -
Thanks for the response. I have seen the customization demo page for the rich:panel. This is pretty much what I tried.
To be clear, I want to set a different background color for the header. Here is the markup and style definition I'm using:<rich:panel style="width:200px;min-height:400px;margin:0px;" styleClass="loginPanelClass" headerClass="loginPanelHeaderClass"> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText value="JMAT Login Please" /> </f:facet> ...
Here's the style definition for the header:.loginPanelHeaderClass{padding-left:20px;background-color:rgb(110,110,60);font:normal italic 8pt verdana;}
The padding works, but the background-color and font do not work. Also, the demo does not have any text in the header, and it does not use a different bg color.
thanks again for any help, Sergey.

sergeysmirnov Mar 12, 2008 5:45 PM (in response to jgreene)What does it mean background-color does not work. Do you mean that you still see the gradient header there?
