Accessing EntityManager from EJB2.1 Session Bean

Hi!

I'm wondering it is possible to access EntityManager from SessionBean writen in EJB2.1 standard.

Books like "EJB in Action" says that it should be supported by application servers, but the code described there seems not work in jboss4.2.2. Maybe there's some other way to do that.

If you take advantage of JBoss' ability to throw your EM into JNDI (in PersistenceManager configuration), you can do a lookup from your EJB2.1 Bean from there using javax.naming...
