I tried to vote few times in the past but actually I cant get to the link you supplied with my regular credentials. ( login failed )

If you are asking about are we going to do something like http://www.nitobi.com/, the answer is NO.
There is no reason to make something that is much worse that we already have in RichFaces. The reason might be to do something better. -
