1. Re: [Jboss 5.0.0.GA] problem with JNDI name persistent unit
jaikiran Jan 30, 2009 5:11 AM (in response to faithnomore79)java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Cache name cannot contain '/' characters.
Someone else had reported this here http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=146929I think this is caused by the not working of the jboss.entity.manager.factory.jndi.name
No that's not the cause. The problem is because of the EhCache usage:<property name="hibernate.cache.provider_class" value="org.hibernate.cache.EhCacheProvider" />
Question: Are you intentionally using EhCache? -
2. Re: [Jboss 5.0.0.GA] problem with JNDI name persistent unit
faithnomore79 Jan 30, 2009 5:16 AM (in response to faithnomore79)My "caching" needs are simple, ehcache seemed the most easy to use and the best to google information about.
So, if changing the caching provider could solve my problem, no that would not be a problem.
Considerin I have no need for clustering, what would be my best option ?
Thanks -
