15. Re: Stumped on ModalPanel
jbpringuey Apr 2, 2008 12:16 AM (in response to jucobb2)because I wanted to upgrade from 3.1.1 directly to 3.2.0 and since that was not working in 3.2.0, I have tried 3.1.4 that did not work, 3.1.3 did not work as well and if I remember well 3.1.2 did work. I have just seen that the bug has been marked as works for me but I am using you framework on a web site so that is a blocker for me given that more and more people are buying MAC computer

damianharvey Apr 3, 2008 9:37 AM (in response to jucobb2)Today I tried to upgrade from Richfaces 3.1.3 to 3.2 and am facing this same issue. Our whole dev team are on Macs (10.4.11 Tiger) and it only affects those who are using Firefox 2 (2.0.0.13 in most cases).
Safari is ok.
Firefox 3 is ok.
Camino is ok.
IE7 is ok (VMWare).
IE6 is ok (VMware).
I don't have this problem under Richfaces 3.1.3. We have customers using FF2 so I can't really just ditch it. It looks like it must be a remarkably specific bug.
Cheers,
Damian. -

jbpringuey Apr 3, 2008 1:18 PM (in response to jucobb2)well the safari version is out of the box version of any mac and for a web site (as opose to a web app) and FF V2 is the most common version on MAC, it is a pretty bad bug that makes my app unusable .. I cannot ask all FF user on mac to upgrade....

modoc Apr 6, 2008 11:38 PM (in response to jucobb2)The Safari freezing issue is easily fixed:

The issue with Firefox on a Mac already has an open Jira ticket. I'm eagerly awaiting a fix as well.
