RTSP and JBoss Remoting

I am looking to implement video streaming over RTSP. Has anyone tried implementing RTSP as a pluggable transport for JBoss remoting? If not, are there alternatives that are deemed to be better?

There was some mention of a jboss-media-module/EMB in a post from 2004, but no mention of it in the recent past.

I'm not aware of anyone working on such a transport. I don't know anything about RTSP, but offhand, I don't see how it would fit with the Remoting API, which is based on an RPC model. However, stay tuned for Remoting 3, which should be more message oriented.
