In the JBPM documentation in figure 3.4 for running the process test there is a reference about the method

JpdlXmlReader.parseFromResource

but it is not to be found in JpdlXmlReader.

Can anyone help regarding this, is there any other method that i can use to parse the file. I looked into the package and couldnt find anything relevant so far.

I'm using:

Reader reader = new FileReader("/path/to/processdefinition.xml");
JpdlXmlReader processDefinitionReader = new JpdlXmlReader(reader);
ProcessDefinition processDefinition = processDefinitionReader.readProcessDefinition();

You should use ProcessDefinition.parseXmlResource(). The docs are updated in cvs.
