d0yao Aug 25, 2005 4:50 PM (in response to camunda)When you redeploy the process(changed or not), the version will increase by 1. All open tasks still follow the old version while new task will use new version

3. Re: How to change the process version of a running process
camunda Aug 26, 2005 4:12 AM (in response to camunda)yes, I know. But some of the running processes should take the new version (because the old one has a bug), so I want manually set them to the new version.
How can I do this? -

aguizar Aug 26, 2005 12:37 PM (in response to camunda)Changing the references from the old definitions to the new definitions should not have any side effects, as long as you update *every single* reference. I'd recommend to copy your existing database to a test database and do the changes in a trial-and-error manner.
Tom is working on a general-purpose solution: http://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBPM-165. However, this problem is nontrivial, so it could take some time.
