mfag Sep 4, 2005 5:43 PM (in response to mfag)Well, I see that I am not getting answers on this...
I just needed a simple explanation not very detailed.. . It would be nice to start if I knew how to alter the websale example, like for example change it's process definition and the code to reflect the change in the process
Thanks in advance! -

Although this is opensource, it does not mean we do not have private weekends for ourselves to do other things like play tennis, golf, windsurf and have a cold beer. You asked your question friday afternoon and now it is sunday... please have patience with us and all other users.
Now regarding your question.
Did you read the documentation and download/install the GPD?

Have a nice weekend.... -

mfag Sep 5, 2005 7:58 AM (in response to mfag)Oh... You are quite right, It was because I had already posted another topic with this questions some days ago... I am so embarrassed, I also like to enjoy the weekends, sailing, windsurfing, skating and, like you, having a nice cold one beneath the sun!!!! ;)
I did read the documentation and installed GPD.
I have tried and understanded the examples that were there, they parsed the file and then there were those junit tests.
As for the websale example I've been seeing the JSP's and the webapp code, I still have some difficukty in understanding where is the process definition deployed and parsed, and also where is teh workflow signaled (is it necessary, maybe not..)
I know that maybe this doubts are to simple, but I am really starting and wanted to have a quick start -

mfag Sep 19, 2005 12:08 PM (in response to mfag)Can you confirm me the steps to deploy a new process definition to the webapp?
What I am trying to do is deploy.processes and then deploy webapp, but I always get only the websale process in the webapp.
I have defined swimlanes like the websale example
thanks -
5. Re: Webapp
kukeltje Sep 20, 2005 2:44 AM (in response to mfag)look at the ant task and you'll see why it only takes the websale app. Adapt it a little to deploy your own process.

hannes Sep 20, 2005 4:51 AM (in response to mfag)I didn't managed deploying by anttask (see http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=69240) but I can recommend the Deploy-Servlet: http://localhost:8080/jbpm/deploy?archive=http://localhost:8080/simple.par Of course you have to put the par file in the tomcat-folder first...
Btw, the forum seems to be quite buggy, i can't use the url-tags. Is it actually the forums-portlet of the jboss portal? :) -
