1. Re: What are the recommeded ways to add reports to jBPM?
davidsan1001 Oct 12, 2005 2:11 PM (in response to davidsan1001)No help here! Its really hard to figure out how to query the database for meaningful reports. Not sure how to figure out what stage a workflow is in my querying the database.
Any pointers at all?

kukeltje Oct 12, 2005 2:36 PM (in response to davidsan1001)Sorry you had to wait 4 days.
There are eough pointers in the webapp example. Look at the monitor page. There is info about task instances etc with backing beans, hibernate queries etc.
One thing you will have to learn, is to compose hibernate queries. Without those you will be unable to get any further.

davidsan1001 Oct 12, 2005 7:37 PM (in response to davidsan1001)Thanks. I've noticed how jBPM makes its calls. It seems I'll need to construct a query that looks for instances of a particular process, finds the token and sees what node the token is currently in, then grab the name of that token for display. Makes my head hurt right now but I'll keep at it.
My monitor.jsp page is just a big TODO. Is that one in the starters kit? I'll look around a bit for a monitor page with some code in it.

The monitor page has evolved quite a bit. You should check out the latest version from CVS and have a look.
