Cant Start Server

Hi,

when i try to start the server supplied with the JBPM starter kit, i get the following error:

14:04:38,886 ERROR [Http11Protocol] Error initializing endpoint
java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind:8080

Even though i have no other services running on port 8080. If i change the port to 8181, i get the same error on that port, plus a new one on port 4444

Any suggestions?

I'd ask this in the jboss forums. If the appserver cannot start, it is most likely the cause lies there.

I sometimes get this error because the port is taken by one of my instant messengers. Shutting these down, starting the server and afterwards starting the IM program again is a workaround in my case...
