1. Re: How can I display processimage (jpg) in browser?
kukeltje Jan 5, 2006 5:33 PM (in response to lisaanm)the process image is in the .par file. The image is created by the GPD. So just uploading the .xml file is not enough.

lisaanm Jan 6, 2006 4:11 AM (in response to lisaanm)Thanks for your reply.
I want to know exactly how the GPD converts (or creates) xml file (processdefinition.xml or gpd.xml) to jpg image. I tried to connect to CVS for GPD source but timeout error (still trying).
If anybody knew about this process, please give me some ideas about it.
Thanks you. -

tschnoelzer Jan 6, 2006 11:34 AM (in response to lisaanm)We also have the need to generate a JPG from a processdefintion.xml file. the system is not using the gpd. we have a weclient and want to show the process as a flowchart (same like the gpd does)
is there a method like: Byte[] b = GpdUtils.createProcessDefinitionImage(ProcessDefiniton pd); -
4. Re: How can I display processimage (jpg) in browser?
koen.aers Jan 9, 2006 7:03 AM (in response to lisaanm)For the moment, I leverage simply the included GEF functionality. I have been thinking about generating the jpg image on the fly when deploying instead of at saving time.
I am not sure in what context you want to generate this image. But if it is not from within an Eclipse context, I have a feeling this is not an evident addition.

rafaelsource Jan 10, 2006 4:30 AM (in response to lisaanm)We also need to do something like this, the first idea is generate the jpg image from the jpdl definition. And without use the Eclipse IDE.

kukeltje Jan 10, 2006 3:11 PM (in response to lisaanm)Koen,
wouldn't you also need an auto-layout mechanism if just the jdpl file is available? -

koen.aers Jan 11, 2006 4:42 AM (in response to lisaanm)Yes this auto-layout stuff becomes more and more important now.
On the same note, have a look at : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3916845#3916845
