cvs problem

hi all,

I'm having difficulties checking out the project:

$ cvs -d:pserver:[e-mail]:/cvsroot/jbpm login
Logging in to :pserver:[e-mail]:2401/cvsroot/jbpm
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

any ideas?

btw,
i have no problem telneting to cvs.sf.net, so it's not a fw problem as is suggested when googling

anonymous checkouts was getting very slow or unaccessible.

we have just moved repository to jboss infrastructure. especially anonymous cvs access should be much faster.
