GPD 3.0.9 Freezes Upon Opening Sample Process

I am using Eclipse 3.1.0 with jbpm-gpd-site-3.0.9.1.zip. Do I need to be running a different version of Eclipse or is there a log somewhere to determing why it is freezing the entire IDE?

ok i did a clean install of Eclipse 3.1.2 and still had the same problem. So I uninstalled the plugin and tried doing it manually with the "jbpm-gpd-feature-3.0.9.1" files, but had the same outcome. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

ok, well I downloaded the JBoss IDE per the getting started guide in the Wiki and everything works. I would prefer not to have to use this IDE as it takes some time to start and I have other plugins under my other Eclipse install. Is this unavoidable?

When exactly does this freeze happen? Is anyone else seeing this?

I see it as well. When I open the websale example, then click on the Source tab. After that Eclipse pegs the CPU for like 3-5 minutes or until I kill it if I get tired of waiting. I'm using latest JBoss IDE with GPD 3.0.9.1. I can open my other processes just fine though.

It happens when I create a new process project and open the sample process that is part of the new project layout. It also happens when I create a new process definition in a project and try to open it. The GPD opens and then hangs...I am unable to click anything. I have no problems with the JBoss IDE.

In any case, I don't see it happening with the latest Starter's Kit. Are you using Windows or Linux?
And one of you says it happens with JBoss IDE, the has no problem with JBoss IDE...
Is there some kind of trace in the Eclipse log?

Hm... I was too quick. I was able to see the phenomenon. Looks indeed like some XML issue.

No XML issue... I think it has something to do with the new deployment tab. But not quite sure yet.
In my environment, the problem does not show when creating a fresh process project. Even importing the websale example in this project and opening it goes very smoothly. If I import jbpm in my workspace however and try to open the websale or the simple example, then Eclipse hangs...

I will further investigate.

If you are saying that add the jbpm dist as a project into your workspace, I can confirm that I am also doing that in the workspace in which I have the hanging problem.

No, I mean copying the websale.par folder in a freshly created 'process' project. If you do that it doesn't hang in my environment.
