im using GPD developing my processDefinition, when deploy the definition to jboss server, i know that the processDefinition was saved to database, but where is my custom class "SampleAssignmentHandler" ? has it been deployed yet ?

any help is appreciated

it is in the db as well. jBPM uses this (with a custom classloader) to be able to have versioned actionhandlers.

What if i create ActionHandler for each task Node ? and perform the operation in the actionHandler for that task.

look at the documentation, examples/testcases etc...

it is called on the events you declare in the process or on transitions.
