1. Re: Class chooser for ActionHandler not working in designer
kukeltje Jul 5, 2006 6:06 AM (in response to hoogenbj)Johan,
The GPD is not tested agains Eclipse 3.2, so if that does not work, we (at least I) have currently no idea. I've seen the behaviour you describe in 3.1.2 as well, don't know if it is since 3.0.9 or not, but thought it was a typo on my side. Try to type it in once and see if it shows up then if you try a second time. That was the behaviour I thought I saw -

hoogenbj Jul 5, 2006 6:14 AM (in response to hoogenbj)Wow, that was quick!
I tried the options you suggested, including a few other combinations, but still no luck. I remember that in Eclipse 3.1.2 it would work once I've pasted in the fully qualified class name at least once. -

Pasting or typing. The behaviour you describe from 3.1.2 is what I have to (tried it a few minutes ago, I have to give a presentation tomorrow, so I better prepare offline and hibernate my pc, not shut it down ;-)
I am afraid you are on your own with this untill some testing is done to get it running on 3.2 (which includes using WTP 1.5 as well, so it will be a kind of major upgrade. -
4. Re: Class chooser for ActionHandler not working in designer
hoogenbj Jul 5, 2006 7:13 AM (in response to hoogenbj)I'm sure we'll cope fine until then. Eclipse 3.2 is worth the pain. Should this be raised in Jira or something?

5. Re: Class chooser for ActionHandler not working in designer
kukeltje Jul 5, 2006 7:28 AM (in response to hoogenbj)Yep, it will never hurt to raise a Jira issue for this. That way it is and stays on the radar. But be sure to fill in the environment correctly and do not assign a version to it since it is not supposed to work in the environment you have. (well, not realy but you get my point)

koen.aers Jul 11, 2006 4:04 AM (in response to hoogenbj)Thanks for reporting Johan. One additional question from me. Do you see anything related to this in your Eclipse error log? If so please add it to the issue.
Regards,
Koen
