sergeysmirnov Apr 16, 2008 2:58 PM (in response to billevans)Currently, the time is set to the middle of the day. I.e. noon. No way to define another time be default.
The RFC is added to the Jira. -

4. Re: Calendar - how to set default time to 00:00
ke3pup Mar 6, 2012 6:23 AM (in response to billevans)Hi,
I;m using RichFaces 3.3.3 and really need to have the ability to get the current time when user selects a date. Currently it just set the day to Midday (12:00). Setting Default is no use since it's still not relevant to when the user is making the action. Is it possible to get current time as the Time that is set when user selectes a date? Please help. Thanks

5. Re: Calendar - how to set default time to 00:00
jsface Nov 22, 2012 12:23 PM (in response to nbelaevski)I just visit the RFC site. Now we can use defaultTime attribute to set the time. But in the VDL Doc below, defaultTime takes a Java Object. Is that too generic? I wonder what kind of Object I should provide in specific. I'm pretty sure I cannot plug in an abitrary object.
Any help is appreciated!
defaultTime false java.lang.Object
Defines time that will be used:
- to set time when the value is empty
- to set time when date changes and flag "resetTimeOnDateSelect" is true
Default value is "getDefaultValueOfDefaultTime()"
