global revision table in different database?

Hi,

I tried out the envers seam demo and changed the datasource to mysql. While browsing the data, I noticed that the global revision table is missing. I assume it was still persisted in hsql.

How can I configure this to be stored in mysql as well and what is the reasoning behind using 2 different datasources?

Very weird ... there is only one datasource used, and you shouldn't have to do anything. I'm pretty sure it isn't persisted in hsql. I tested with mysql and it worked fine, though I'll try again tomorrow in the evening (don't have time right now, unfortunately). Which MySQL are you using, and which Hibernate, JBossAS version?

well, at least that answers my second question trying to understand this decision :)

anyway, I'm using JBoss AS 4.2.3.GA, Hibernate 3.3 and MySQL 5.0 and it works. I wish I could tell you if the table existed in hsql, but me and hsql are archenemies.

I just tested and it works fine. I have the WikiLog entity (that's the global revision entity for this application) and all seems to work well. I assume you don't get any exceptions?

ah! My fault then. I thought the 3 wiki tables are for a different demo application. Yes, it exists. The name was just a bit misleading.
